in creating
these hand
crafted baby
dolls. I only
ever use quality
materials and
many hours of
work go into
creating each
little
individual,
throughout the
reborning
process each
little bundle
takes on its own
personality
ensuring that no
two babies are
ever alike. I
always put my
heart and soul
into each little
individual
created, in
order to
guarantee you
100%
satisfaction.
Creating
the lifelike
colouring,
the lifelike
appearance is
achieved through
many thin layers
(around 8) of
Genesis heat set
paint to achieve
the beautiful
true to life
newborn skin
tones with
subtle mottling
and then sealed
with Genesis
Matt to give a
lovely depth and
realism that
will never fade.
Each little
wrinkle has been
coloured to also
give depth and
the finger and
toe nails are
given the
freshly clipped
look. During
this process the
baby doll can be
given realistic
veins, broken
capillaries,
newborn skin
markings, milk
spots and even
stork bites to
add even more
realism. Each
layer of paint
is dried in the
oven at a set
temperature.

The hair
is then
directionally micro rooted
with a very fine
needle, one
hair at a time
using gorgeous
premium mohair
which is
unbelievably
realistic and
downy soft.
This is
extremely time
consuming but
the effect is
that the babies’
hair is growing
straight from
the scalp, just
like a real
baby. This is
then internally
sealed with
water proof
adhesive so that
the hair can be
dampened and
styled to your
taste. This
same procedure
is also done on
the eyebrows and
eyelashes.

The lovely
detailed
full arms and
legs are then
weighted with
the finest of
glass granules
and the soft
body which
enables the baby
to be posed in
many different
positions is
also weighted
with tiny glass
granules to give
a realistic baby
weight and
topped with
quality fibre
fill and
elastomer
pellets (baby
fat) making the
baby wonderful
and cuddly to
hold. The
little head will
also be weighted
making the head
floppy and will
need your help
to support it
just like a real
baby.

The baby doll
will even smell
like a newborn
baby as it will
be scented with
baby powder
oils. A magnet
may be fitted at
this stage to
allow the baby
doll to take a
pacifier or hair
decorations so
care will be
needed around
electrical
equipment. NO
LONGER A PLAY
DOLL.
Each hand
crafted reborn
baby doll will
